I’m be been invited to a party this summer and am already stressing about what to wear. I’d like to wear a dress but struggling to find something that’s not too weddingy but not too casual either (I realise the more summery clothes will be in the shops later on in the year but trying to find styles/ideas I like so I know where to look then).
I absolutely do not want to bare my legs so as I won’t be wearing tights I’d need something mid-calf or longer. I’m a size 12, good boobs but massive stomach. Don’t want A-line, or anything patterned. I just want to find something sophisticated but laid-back. For reference if it was in winter I’d wear a short leather skirt with a blouse or a midi dress - I can’t work out what the hot-weather equivalent is!
