What trainers should I buy?

I’ve tried and failed to buy trainers over the years- usually because I have scrimped and bought an odd colourway in the sale, or have ordered online and they have actually been canvas instead of leather, and look awful after a season.

I want some white or off white trainers that I can chuck on with jeans, joggers or a dress in summer. Leather, not canvas.

I am quite short but with long feet so need something a bit chunky- I have tried some vejas and air and grace and they are too sleek and make my feet look massive and me look dumpy.

I really like the Fila disruptors (sp?) but hoping to see if there is something a bit more neutral.

Don’t want to spend over £80.

What's your typical style? Are you quite girly, do you wear more sporty style clothes? The Fila Disruptors are quite trend-led/young looking - like the 90s buffalo shoes, does that match your look?

I’m mid twenties and when not pregnant wear a lot of mom jeans, flared trousers crop tops and sweaters. Bodycon midi dresses if warm. They would fit with my style when I’m back in my normal clothes. These days I’m in joggers and maternity skinny jeans- no crop tops in sight!

I like the disrupters, if not those what about new balance?

New Balance? lots of choice, comfortable and long wearing and as they are sold on net a Porter must have something reputed to be stylish about them. I have 3 pairs; pair one is the most comfortable running shoes I have ever had, pair 2 are fairly ordinary ones for the gym and pair 3 are the multicoloured ones featured in December on "That's not my age"

New balance 997 maybe? Or Nike air max?
