Mine is nearly two years old and it just isn't the best thing for my hair. I think it would be good to try one first if you can.
It is versatile but I find time and time again I go back to the babyliss big hair but it depends what you want from it. My hair is fine just beyond shoulders and layered.
Depending where you are you are welcome to borrow mine and see what you think.

Same here!

I am eying up the straighteners instead. Really think of selling the airwrap to go towards them

123xanadu · 06/02/2022 22:44

it's ok, not worth that amount of money I don't think.

I've had mine for a month and I love it. Dries my hair quickly, styles it really well. I feel like I've had a salon blow dry every time.

OneGlamMama · 07/02/2022 02:41

I've got both the air wrap and corrals straighteners and love them both.

I'm obsessed with mine - saved up for it. Worth every dollar.

My hair is so healthy from just 6 months of use. Now saving up for the Dyson straighter.

The thing with the airwrap is it totally depends on your hair and how it responds to styling as to whether it's worth it. My hair is thick and heavy so not only does it take ages to use the barrells the curls don't last (I've had it for a few years and tried so many different methods). The dryer and the flat brush attachment work well but even the round brush leaves my hair frizzy. So for me it's a very expensive hotair brush, however if your hair could hold the curls it's a different story. If I was getting it again I would get it from a supplier where you can try it for 30 days and send it back if it's not for you.

I had the revlon round brush dryer which gave better results but the Dyson is kinder on your hair.

Thanks everyone!!

@mandajmo I really like the fact it can curl your hair while drying it, that's the only thing. I have naturally straight hair that takes HOURS to dry and I then proceed to curling it with heat irons... if I could curl it at the same time as drying my hair it would be amazing. I am desperate but I just want warrant the price unless I just bite the bullet

I bought a refurbished air wrap from Dyson. Basically a brand new return that's been opened and tried. Good saving x

@mandajmo thank you! How did you get your hands on one of those?

Here's the link to the outlet on the Dyson site. You get a 1 year warranty. You need to check daily as stock comes in and out quickly.

Don't buy from Amazon or eBay there are loads of fakes.

gunnersgold · 08/02/2022 17:40

I just got mine from dyson and got it over 3 months woth Klarna . I can afford it but prefer to pay like this as it softens thr blow ! I can't overly work it though 🙄🙈

torquewench · 08/02/2022 18:12

I had one and sent it back (to QVC). Loads of faffing and a very expensive (and noisy) way of getting worse results than I can get with a Babylis Big Hair or GHD Glide. Made my hair really staticky and dry. And the curls wouldn't hold.

Saying that, I have the Dyson hairdryer, which I Love
