Is Sezane worth the outlay?

Have recently discovered Sezane. I have fallen in love with the trench coat! However, does the quality match the cost?

I’ve only had two woollens and they are fabulous.

xxKatie9806xx · 06/02/2022 19:56

I’ve only had a few items but yes the quality is lovely

Tiddlywinkly · 06/02/2022 20:32

Yes! I've fallen in love with Sezane and it's costing me. I've got some jumpers and the trench coat in navy. The quality is excellent.
I watched this review: m.youtube.com/watch?v=203kXM5EjbM
I'm size 8/10 and ordered a small if that helps.

DazzlePaintedBattlePants · 06/02/2022 20:37

Yes, I have a pair of trousers and a cardigan, both of which are great. Size 8 ish and a small fits me perfectly.

hellololabells2019 · 06/02/2022 20:44

tiddlywinkly I was debating the navy. Do you wear it a lot?

But I also like the khaki...

I’ve got a lot from Sézane and always found the quality to be really good!

viewsoftheshard · 06/02/2022 21:14

I have bought a few of their blouses and they are great.

Lucia574 · 06/02/2022 22:36

I’m addicted to Sezane. Great quality and S fits U.K. 8-10 pretty well. They tell you in the item
Info if you need to size up or down.

DramaAlpaca · 06/02/2022 22:38

Yes. It's fabulous stuff. I have to stop myself looking at the website as there's always something I want.

Tiddlywinkly · 06/02/2022 23:39

I only bought it a fortnight ago. Worn it once when the weather was milder. I felt great. Will definitely were it as the weather warms up. It's a heavier, cotton trench.

Geranium1984 · 07/02/2022 06:52

I have a dress and love it! See if there is anything on ebay/vinted you like and you can have a dabble without paying full price to start

thebigpurpleone · 07/02/2022 08:21

Would you say medium for a size 10-12 with big boobs?

NalPolishRemover · 07/02/2022 08:55

I have quite a few things from Sezane & find the quality excellent.
I wear the shirts the most. I have 3 pairs of jeans & 4 pairs of trousers. I've gained some weight so they don't fit so well but I'm working on getting back into them this spring
I would recommend their clothes..

Zengarden001 · 07/02/2022 09:29

In general, yes, but worth checking fabric content as some stuff is polyester but still with £££ price tag. Their silk shirts are gorgeous. Delivery takes a while and returns take ages, but on the whole worth it.

Pigtailsandall · 07/02/2022 12:06

I like Sezane too but I'm always scared of paying £100 for a knitwear.

For those who like the styles, I've just had a little nosey at FatFace and they do a few Sezane dupes at the moment. I'm not too keen on the pastels but the cream options look nice

Gosh, FF is one of the few clothes shops in our local town. Probably the only one. I never usually find anything in there I like as they always seem designed for holidays by the beach, staying in a retro camper-van. But I will go and have a look...

Allsorts1 · 07/02/2022 12:12

Yes sezane is definitely worth it! I have never got on with their pants though - but jackets and tops are fantastic and you’ll use them for years. Additionally, if you sell second hand, they really retain their value. I’ve sold lots of sezane tops for around £45, after paying £90 originally and taking good care of them for a few years with lots of use.

Ozanj · 07/02/2022 12:13

No. I find Joules, Fatface and Uniqlo far better quality for knitwear and I don’t like French sizes for dresses - they don’t fit my short waisted shape well. Busts fit but waists are always too large and hips too small.

Fluffruff · 07/02/2022 13:51

There are Facebook groups on sezane where there has been recent talk of the decline in quality - cheaper fabrics being used but at the same high price. I can’t comment as haven’t bought anything recently but stuff bought in the past few years has lasted well.

DoctorMarten · 07/02/2022 14:31

I've got quite a few dresses, skirts and accessories from there – all fab!

Allsorts1 · 07/02/2022 14:41

@Fluffruff interesting! I would say I haven’t bought anything from sezane in last two years - they used to have heaps of lovely blouse options but I’ve noticed I haven’t been tempted last few times I’ve had a look at their website.

Allsorts1 · 07/02/2022 14:42

Because the designs weren’t as good! I meant to say
