Foundation for large pores

Could I please have some recommendations for foundation that covers large pores?

I’d prefer medium to full coverage (pref the latter), for combination skin, and I’m late 40’s.

I have a L’Oreal foundation that is ok but only after I’ve spent ages putting on a good layer of ELF primer, and even then it’s 50/50 as to whether it looks good or not.

I want it for everyday use and really get fed up that just wearing foundation these days takes a mammoth effort to cover the large pores that have appeared in the past couple of years.

This is brilliant. I don’t even need a foundation over it

How do you put your foundation on? I read that the trick to cover pores is to make sure skin is hydrated well first and use a beauty blender/circular sponge and rub it in in circles. Worth a go maybe? Worked for me the other day.

You need to use a foundation brush to push it into the pores (after using a primer!). I’m currently on Maybelline matte mouse and it’s working most days.

I’ll be noting down anyone’s miracle products anyway! My face is like a sieve!

This isn't what you asked for but it worked for me. I switched to using Obagi skincare and 0.25 Tretinoin (twice weekly) a year ago. My skin is vastly improved and all I use now is a tinted Roche Posay sunblock buffed in with a kabuki brush, and a little under-eye concealer. I don't need the cover of a primer + foundation + powder anymore. When I think how much I've spent trying (and failing) to conceal my pores...

Oooh @FabriqueBelgique I might try a brush, any recommendations?

I use Trinny London Miracle blur on my nose and chin where my pores are big. Don't use anywhere else-use her tinted moisturiser first all over

It is very good-sort of fills them and blurs over the whole thing.

Double Wear. Amazing stuff. And whatever you put on top of it STAYS PUT!

Works for me! Beauty blender in a circular motion with a generous amount of concealer (not foundation). Concealer is thicker so sits better in the pores, I use foundation on the rest of my face.
