Kaftan type housewear

Can anyone suggest website or shops that I could buy a long length kaftan to wear round the house / out in the garden please? I have looked online but they all seem to be bright patterns and I would like a plain muted colour really.

Ooh, I don’t know but following. This is a nice idea for spring/summer. What would you wear underneath? I don’t mind bright colours either - where are the ones that aren’t right for you?

Etsy is my go to for anything like this - I got a fab kimono on there recently

There seem to be some nice, not too bright kaftans. How’s this? www.etsy.com/uk/listing/1145503929/new-calf-length-women-printed-casual

Try Naked Generation. Earthy colours, natural fibres, their Ramona kaftans are currently in the sale and are really soft and comfortable to wear. I have a couple so can recommend.

Thank you all so much for your suggestions, I really appreciate you replying.

Lemon violet- I would wear a petticoat underneath (if they are still called that? I bought it in M&S, it is knee length in lycra so no need for a bra as it is figure hugging).

Kit and Kaboodal have lots of loose draped dresses - might work?

These aren’t kaftans, but I’ve found them great for just wearing round the house.

These three tend to have kaftans…often patterned, but some plain, or plainer ones may be in stock.

East, Boden and White Company sometimes have kaftan-style things. Hope you find something! Agree with previous poster re Aspiga - some lovely clothes.

I used to smile at my 80 year old neighbour who would be out cleaning her step in what I guess was an original 60s kaftan and full make up. She is dead now ,God rest her soul , but she would have been excited kaftans were back I fashion .

Yes Sandgrown, it was an old neighbour who has given me the idea of wearing a kaftan type gown now, she always looked so effortlessly chic and comfortable in it if you ever saw her in her house and garden.

If I'm at home I hate to wear my work clothes (skirt/tights etc) but don't like to wear my nightdress in case someone came to the door or my neighbours saw me out in the garden.
