Pompom bags... anyone??

These Pompom leather bags that are all over my Facebook. The ones with the changeable straps. Has anyone got one? Would you recommend? They look great but I don't know if it's just clever marketing because they're EVERYWHERE!!!

They're all over my Instagram too and look suspiciously like a company I bought from last year. I suspect they have changed their name. The quality was terrible!

Oliver Bonas do funky straps around £12.50 with horsebit claps so will fit most bags. I have one and the quality is ten times better.

I gave one as a present last month from apatchy london. It was lovely quality and actually bigger than I thought it was going to be, really lovely bag and liked that the straps could be changed

I've just had a look at pompomlondon.com and they are selling the exact same bag straps as Oliver Bonas for £18.95 as opposed to £12.50!

I got sucked.in and bought a red pom-pom one just before Christmas to replace a crossbody bag that died.
I'm off out to a standing gig tonight (Field Music) and I'm taking it out for a spin. I like it so far. Perfect size for purse, phone and keys and I like the fabric strap

I bought one last summer. Could have got very very similar for a fraction of the price but it's good quality and I love it. I use it whenever I can get away with taking a tiny bag and switch the straps up according to what I wear.

Don't know if I'd spend that again knowing there are cheaper options but I think I'm glad I got it before I found out

I have one (total Instagram mug!). It’s a very nice little bag - decent quality for the price. But it does feel VERY ubiquitous- it’s fine for a simple everyday bag but I wouldn’t take it on a night out. It fills a gap in my mum life wardrobe. But not particularly stylish per se

Surely this is a zombie thread? I bought one of those straps (very useful BTW) about three years ago. Where have you all been?

Ah seeing you all day the quality is good makes me think I must have bought mine from someone else.
