I just found this site today. Well that’s my Saturday sorted.

I love run and fly. I have items of dinosaur clothing which I love!

ChasedByFox · 10/02/2022 19:09

I love foxes...but 100% acrylic? Not for me thanks.

I like some of the older plainer or abstract pattern prints, but there seems to be a clamour for the more out there stuff now.
Also the quality after a few washes /wears doesn’t seem great IMO bobbling etc, but any mention of that just gets shouted down in the FB group but it’s an entirely valid point. For £45 I don’t want a bobbly dress.

I bought a cardigan for almost £100 from Boden - first wear and it’s all bobbly down one arm (I wasn’t carrying a bag). Bahhhh.

Palava is worth checking out too if you like animal/nature themed prints - they have a slightly more grown up look I feel, but definitely quirky. Mostly all organic cotton or wool, a bit pricier but I love my cardigan from them.

They have foxes too: palava.co/collections/womens-knitwear-aw21/products/vera-navy-fox-full-length-sleeve-cardigan

The face book page is a weird place. I had to stop going on. There was women in daft poses in their nursery print dresses bent over blowing kisses at the camera. It all got a bit bizarre and no criticism was allowed no matter how constructive.
In furlough times the madness and disappointment that a dress had sold out at 12 noon on a Friday was bordering on hysteria. There certainly was a lot of hype about dresses that were quite expensive for what they were. (But at least they had pockets!🤣)
The earlier vintage style dresses were lovely and I'd be buying them like a shot if they released them again.

@Benjaminsniddlegrass

The Popsy dress cut looks dreadful on me, I'm 5.8 and big boobs - the cuts definitely designed for someone shorter and with less up top.
I'm 5.4 and the cut doesn't quite work on me either - my boobs aren't huge but are too big for Popsy. Which is a pity as I like the prints! The foxy cardigan is tempting.

I do really like Joanie for this sort of thing, although their Barbara shirt dress made me look like a sack of potatoes (unusual, as the cut of their stuff normally works well for me). Still going to wear it for the great pattern though.

Oh @nordica thank you! I was trying to remember that site, as I had seen a beautiful velvet dress on it, linked from MN, v christmassy, but I couldn't recall the website.
