In search of the perfect denim skirt… help!

I am after a grey denim midi skirt- straight cut. Can’t find one anywhere!

This one from Espirit is perfect, but not available in a size 18.

Has anyone seen one?

I have a few chino skirts in that shape from a couple of decades ago

I’ve tried everywhere, all the shops I can think of, eBay and Depop included…

That one is ok, thank you- but v pricy and has a massive slit up the front, which might give quite a show 😂

Not being funny obviously as it's a style that super stylish fashiom maven me wears but have you tried the 'back of the colour supplement' brands? Maybe Damart, Cotton Traders and the like might have one

I don't have a denim one but I have a knee length denim one from warehouse and a grey light denim ra-ra skirt from god-knows-when stashed away somewhere. I held on to the skirts because I like the long and lean look.

I'm currently liking long slim tartan skirts.

A long time devoted fan of the denim skirt, I have found that since having kids and being left with a little pot belly, a front buttoned / zipped denim skirt doesn't look good anymore. I now swear by side zipped denim skirts, allowing me to keep a somewhat more 'contained' silhouette for a bit longer.

I sorted out my wardrobe this weekend and only bloody found one at the back
