Which Chanel perfume is this?

I was stood next to someone on a rare night out last week. She smelt lovely and fresh. I asked her what perfume she had on and she just said Chanel. It was kind of younger than what Chanel normally smells like to me. Any ideas?

Chance aux Fraiche maybe

It might be one of Chance range? There are a few different scents - Eau Tendre is my favourite.

Cristalle? I used to wear this when I was younger. It's lovely, but hard to come by.

It's a shame she was so vague.

You're going to have to go to a large store, I think.

Chanel do a range of 'Les Exclusifs' and if it didn't smell like an ordinary Chanel, it may well have been one of those.

'Bel Respiro', for example, is very fresh, light and green. Like a breeze across a summer field but rendered in exquisite taste. Honestly. Mad-sounding description - but that's what it's like.

Chance Eau Fraiche came to my mind too.

I wouldve said it was like aqua probably more Summery and fresh. And younger.

I'd say the green Chance as well. How old was she? The Chance range is marketed at whippersnappers (like the new Miss Dior and its 548 flankers) though of course anyone can wear it.
Agree also with @thecatfromjapan. It could be Bel Respiro or possibly Jersey.
Might also be one of the Eaux. Paris-Deauville is very fresh.

Eau Fraiche is my fave! My dad always buys the wrong one and when I exchange it's always cheaper than the pink one... I never know why because it's so much nicer!!

Chance eau fraiche. It does get cloying though I find and very easy to spray too much.

Possibly No 5 l'eau as its one my DD ( in her 20's loves) . Smells very fresh and light and is targeted at a younger age group.
If it was someone older maybe Cristalle.

If a mainstream Chanel, possibly Chance Eau Fraiche, or a lighter version of Coco Mademoiselle - the EDT or L’Eau Privee.

Some of the Chanel Exclusif Paris range are fresh - Riviera, Deauville, Biarritz.

It could possibly have been No 19 EDT, it smells very fresh on me.

Cristalle is a good shout too.

I've just purchased Chanel Chance Vivre and it's very fresh and citrusy. My go to years ago was Cristalle, so my taste hasn't changed much since the 90's!

Goodness me when i was 21 the only Chanel I knew was No 5. No 19 and Coco. When did all the others come along?

I’ve got Chance eau vive which is always getting me compliments and is quite fresh but stil quite exclusive smelling IYKWIM.
