What does one wear on a night out these days? I’m lost!

Haven’t been on a proper night out since pre Covid. I’ve just looked in my wardrobe and am at a loss!
What kind of thing are people wearing to bars/pubs etc?
It’s for a hen do. I’ve got some leather leggings.
I seem to have lost my head and thrown most of my heels away during lockdown

Do you have any chunkyish ankle boots? Or Converse/similar?

For a bar/pub venue, i'd go with jeans, patterned blouse and something with a kitten heel (im tall and can't walk in anything higher) or a shirt dress accessorised with a nice belt and bag maybe

Boots, leather leggings and a nice top sound good to me.

I was out for the first time in a long time recently and was pleased to see anything goes! All sorts of outfits and everyone looked great. The only thing was no one was hearing big heels which was brilliant for me! So wear whatever you feel nice in (leather leggings and nice top will be lovely) and have a great time!

I'm one of those people who owns way too many shoes.
Way more heels than I have occasions to actually wear them anymore but I enjoy an excuse to wear them out.
However the dress code is more varied than it used to be in the past so there's no pressure to dress to the nines unless you really want to.

You'll have to leave the slippers behind I'm afraid...got to be outside footwear! Be sure to have some blister plasters on standby for the day after the night before

How about your leather leggings with a wrap top from &OtherStories or a ‘going out top’ from AX Paris or Sugarhill Brighton. Wear with white trainers similar to Adidas Stan Smith. Or for dresses look at Scamp and Dude. Again, can wear trainers with dresses - looks great and you’ll be comfy.

Pre pregnancy, I was still in heeled ankle boots with skinny jeans or leather leggings with a longish blouse/shirt or dressy jumper and leather jacket

Thanks for all the suggestions! I’ve got some black lace up ankle boots with a slightly chunky sole.
Just having a look at the and other stories wrap tops.
