Smart casual restaurant dress code. What is your interpretation of this? I'm thinking dress and ankle boots, but not sure. It's a lunch with theatre afterwards.

That's exactly how I'd interpret it.

Jumper dress and smart boots

Smart dark jeans and a blouse

Black trousers, flats and a blazer

So not casual: jeans and a top, and not super smart: dress and matching jacket

Ooo, there is a blazer in Zara that I've had my eye on. Maybe this is the excuse I need to buy it
