As someone who lives in the U.K. a long way from any nice clothes shops, I was browsing the S&B forum and read about Stitch Fix.

Have just had my first parcel, and have discovered some new brands and actually kept two pieces! Yes I sent back the majority, but just finding a pair of jeans and a jumper I like is amazing.

So this is just a big thank you to those who chatted about it on here, and helped me find a way of breaking out of my usual brands and styles to some new clothes that suit me better than my usual frumpy style .

(I took advantage with a MNetter’s refer a friend code, which helped me with the first delivery. If anyone else thinks of trying it, happy to send them a code).

I just had my fourth box and really loving it so far. I've been using the same stylist each time and I think she's really good at picking things I'll like now. It's also a good way of trying new things as each box has contained one or two items I'd never have tried on in a shop which I've then kept. So far, so good.

@Snipples yes that’s exactly how I feel. Good way to try new styles - makes me a bit more adventurous!

So glad to hear this @Snoodleberry - my first box is due next week and im a little apprehensive about it.

How did you find the quality?

I have also signed up to Thread, which started out just offering mens clothes and have now branched out. Sllightly different in that they just show you your suggestions and you buy whatever you fancy.

Interested to read this as I just ordered my third fix, received my preview and am very unimpressed as they are basically offering identical items to those which I already purchased in my last fix! I mean virtually identical as in green satin top, navy trousers and grey cardigan! I mean if I just bought them last year why would I want completely identical replacements? Very odd and quite unimpressed by the other items which seemed to be a random assortment of stuff, annoying given my instructions- notes were very specific as to my requirements.

@HelloCanYouHearMe three were good, and subsequently more expensive, the rest were less good. I had put a low budget tick for the first box as I wasn’t confident it would work, but will change it to a higher budget when I order again and see how it comes.

@Acunningruse if this happens to me I will be so disappointed. Will have to see in my next box.
