Starting Retinal and Vit C

So as my 50th draws near I’ve decided to up my game with my skincare which has mostly been Clinique 3 step up to now, with their moisture surge.

First step is I’ve ordered some Medik8 retinal (crystal .3) and their vitamin C. I’m using a daily SPF - LRP SFP 50.

I understand I should introduce the retinal gradually but which would you start first?

Main issues are sunspots, fine lines and dull skin.

I would use dermatica or skin + me and get their dermatologist to prscribe tretinoin, and whatever other ingredients suited best to your skin.

I’ve already ordered in the Medik8 products after doing some reading. I’d prefer not to go down the subscription route, yet.

I have been using the Medik8 products for about 18 months now and like them. I use the Vitamin C in the morning before the moisturiser. I use the Medik8 Retinol 3TR. Think I started off twice in a week, then alternate nights then every night.

Thank you. Unsure whether to start one and introduce the other a couple of weeks later but as I’m going slowly with the retinal I guess starting them both together should be fine.

The nice thing with Medik8 is that their formulations are so good you are unlikely to get any irritation with the Retinal. I can't remember which of their vitamin c ive tried but again I found I didn't react to it, unlike some other vit cs. You should be fine staring both.
