Is Brora worth the price?

I'm interested in the cuffed corduroy trousers. I really like them but they're very expensive and I was wondering if anyone had bought from them and were they worth it for quality?

I think their cashmere probably is, especially if bought in the sale. It's not really ' for life' but I've got things that are 10+ years old that they have mended for a reasonable price. The other garments are well made but I think there is a big mark- up; things are nicely finished but still overpriced eg fine knit cotton cardigans with lovely mother of pearl buttons... but that are £85 and manufactured in China.
Have seen similar trousers discounted in previous sales- though that's a while away and discount codes are infrequent, especially over ssumme!
I suppose if you really love them...Wink

I have quite a lot of their knitwear, not because i can afford full prices but because I usually buy something in the sale each year and it lasts forever. The quality of the cashmere is amazing.
I also like the dresses and liberty print silk and cotton blouses and skirts. There are still some bargains in the sale as at today. if you get sick of your Brora clothes after a few years they always sell well on ebay.

Yes. I’ve got some Brora wool trousers bought on sale in 2010 (!) and they still look like new- and very ‘cottage core’ so they’re staying in the wardrobe for now. Think about price per wear; it might make them seem a bit less pricy. 🤞🏻

I think it’s great, although usually buy in the sale. The cashmere is gorgeous, very warm and cosy. They have some nice styles and colours. My favourite this year is the ribbed funnel neck jumper.

Had a quick look at some labels, and none of my Brora is made in China. The Liberty tops are manufactured in England, dress and shirts in Portugal, and wool cardigans in Czech Republic.

Overall, quality is good but a tad overpriced. Good resale value though

I have a couple of pairs of their corduroy trousers (not cuffed but wide leg). They're lovely but I'd wait for the sale.
