I am starting a new job in a couple of weeks. I have been a teacher for 12 years, in a school with quite a formal business dress code.
I am moving to a new role coordinating SEND provision across a local authority. My work will be a mix of visiting families, schools and colleges (to see both young people and staff), working in the office and attending meetings with a range of other professionals.
I definitely don't think the formal gear my current school expects is right, but all my interviews were over teams and I couldn't get a feel for what people wear very well.
Any suggestions. My budget ... I normally buy a mix of high end high street on ebay or vinted or new from H&m etc. I'm 42, don't look too bad but I'm pretty tubby at 5'4 and size 14.
