Has anyone's skin on their face gone shocking after covid?
My pores are huge and I could get a weeks shopping in my bags!
I feel like I have aged about 5 years in 2 weeks!
Any good products for eye bags?

I'm currently on day 5 of symptoms and my skin has never been drier ,my lips are cracked and bleeding as well.

GingerAndTheBiscuits · 30/01/2022 19:27

Yep, horrendously dry skin and spots all around my mouth

OnebusyMum · 30/01/2022 20:32

Yep my lips are dry too and hair!
I'm now two weeks after being positive, doesn't seem to be getting any better!

Mine was - dehydrated skin, awful puffy eyes that lasted a good few months despite eating very healthily, lots of vitamins and water. It got better again though!

Do you have nasal congestion? My eye bags are terrible - you can actually see a line where they meet my cheeks. I have sinus pain when I bend over so I think it's related. I've started using a steroid nasal spray which seems to be helping.

Oh god I have just recovered from a nasty bout of covid and my skin is in bits, dry and spotty. Panda eyes and just not looking remotely healthy.
All my usual products aren’t working and I’m unsure how to proceed.
I feel like a dried up husk and yep, doing the vitamins and oils.

OnebusyMum · 31/01/2022 06:54

I do have constant headaches..
Hopefully as time goes on the puffiness will fade.
I read somewhere about face yoga .Sounds interesting, anything is worth a try!

Sali Hughes just did a video on this, on her Instagram account. Some good product recommendations.

My skin also went to shit during Covid though is returning to normal now.

I thought I was alone with this issue which is why I ended up searching for this subject. I briefly had Covid (5 days) and totally recovered from it, even though it really made me horrendously ill. I am in my 50's and have always had pretty good skin regarding wrinkles - but post covid - the skin under my eyes is like crepe paper - an area of my gums literally receded over a week period. I find it incredible how much I have aged in a brief amount of time. I doubt this will reverse :-(

Mine was dry and sore. I was recommended La Roche Posay soothing repairing balm and it has really made a huge difference.
