Any hairdressers on here?

I have 90% white hair peppered with bits of darker (grey) hair. I hate it and Id like it dyed or bleached or highlighted so it looks blonde. My hairdresser has said it's not possible but I can't believe no one has ever had white hair dyed. I just wondered if there were any hairdressers than could offer an opinion.

Technically you can bleach white hair, but as bleaching is done to remove pigment it’s kind of pointless to do it on white hair that naturally had no pigment.

To get what you want you’d need someone to just highlight the darker areas to lighten them then have a semi or toner all over to add tone to give you a blonde look. But that will fade quickly and need redoing regularly.
