Best shampoo for long, thick, dry hair

It has a slight wave but just looks dry and a bit dead although recently cut. Anything to make it look shiny or glossy? Ideally under £10.

The silicone and phthalates free Herbal Essences range.
DD has dry long curly hair and I gave dry long wavy hair and it's brilliant.
I've bought expensive salon stuff in the past and this is better than all of them. The avocado one especially.
I also use the Miracle 8 second lamellar water which is great.
