Teenage clothes

My dd12 is tall, slim and a size 6/8 in womens clothes. Everything we try on in shops looks a bit too adult, bit big and grown up. Got a few bits in primark. Any other suggestions please?

Try H&M or New Look (which does a teen range).

Next go up to age 16. My daughter also gets yours from Gap & Lands End. There it is a gap in the market from 14-18 if you still want to dress as a "child" & not an emo or a grown up. 😕

How tall is she? I’m 5’8” and would sometimes buy from the Zara kids section when I was a 6-8.

Dd is 12 and doesn’t mind some of the matalan teen range (she wears an age 15 or a 6)

I think H and M clothes in the younger woman range are quite suitable. My 14 year old like the baggy 90s style jeans and short t shirts/hoodies etc. She is also 6/8 (though quite short). I think H and M is where most of her friend s go too. Primary is a bit hit and miss, I’d say.

Definitely h&m. I'm 5ft 5 maybe a bit smaller more like 4-6 and I find the proportions of the Slimer clothes are great there and so much choice. I e had great experience with them online. If you become a member postage is free, refunds are also free and you get rewards points and discounts. I find Zara clothing too big but there kid/teen range is good. Have you tried Wednesday's girl on ASOS website their sizes are good too.

A girls' 14 or 15 should fit. I'm the same height, 6 bottom, 10 top and can wear children's tops but the bottoms are too big for the length I need.
