I keep looking at these, and really like them. But they don't look particularly practical (a bit boxy and not much room)
Does anyone have one? I want a bag that'll be big enough to hold a few things.

I have the boden version of this bag and love it. As I've got older I prefer a smaller bag and find I'm not carrying half the house around with me unnecessarily!

I take my phone, keys, small cardholder type wallet, mask and some lip salve and it fits it all. I think if you have a bulky purse it may be a bit of a squeeze!

I’ve just ordered it. It’s exactly what I’m looking for. I have one this style from Coach but I love that colour. Thanks @Needacuppanow. I just take out my phone, bank card, travel card and key.

I have the same style from My Exquisite at half that price and love it .
I have various straps that I alternate and I removed the tassel for a different look too.

I’ve got an Oliver Bonas version of this style (they sell separate straps too. I’m selling an identical zebra strap on eBay at the moment which I bought for about £12. I find it a useful size but can’t get my umbrella in it which is a bad thing what with living in a rainy part of the country.

My daughter has one that she got from John Lewis with a plain strap and this week I picked her up a fancy leopard print strap from a oval store. They sell the bags too for about half the price of the one on the website

Thanks for this thread! - I was ogling someone's orange version of this on the train recently but didn't have the guts to ask her where she got it. I'm sure it is this one because it's so stylish, and it looks fab 'out and about' and not too small.

I haven’t seen these before but really like it. I have a few bags of this size from mulberry and aspinal and use them daily, as a PP says they’re the perfect size for purse, phone, lip balm, keys etc.

It’s funny because when I was a child my mum always had a handbag of this size (one of those real 80s leather handbags) and now I’ve gone back to use exactly the same kind of thing

It’s nice but I bought a similar one from Oliver
Bonus and I have found it too small, mind you I do have quite a bit purse

What I will say is don't buy the Marc Jacobs version with TWO zipped parts as it's really annoying and too hard to open the bag - the bag is horrible stiff leather and it literally hurts my hand opening it

And it cost about £200 as well

I have the black one of these. I’ve just had a look on OB and they’ve added more similar styles and colours than when I bought mine and they sell separate straps

These bags are everywhere at the moment aren't they? I just bought a red one to use as a gig bag but haven't had a chance to use it yet. Seems like a perfect size for a night out.

I got a khaki one and I absolutely love it! But days I need 2 sets of glasses is a problem :)

I've 3 of this style from different brands. All very practical and good if you don't want to take much with you. I can fit my small purse, keys, phone, lippy and one pair of glasses (which is the only pain).

If you can get one where you can interchange the strap that is great (only one of mine does that - the other two are fixed straps).

I love the colour of the Ellie Beaumont one.
