Recommend me an all purpose liquid concealer?

My current one has been discontinued Sad
I have pale skin, fairly neutral undertone, and tend to just use concealer for the occasional blemish and mild redness around the nose/chin. I use Bobbi Browns corrector under my eyes and usually layer my current concealer over that to brighten the area.

Anyone got any brands for me to consider? If they’re cheap, even better!

I’ve been trying Glossier stretch but it’s a bit too shiny/greasy looking for me! I’m 40, if that makes a difference

Try the Collection one. It's really good. It's medium coverage and not too densely pigmented so if your skin is relatively ok to start with it just helps cover up small blemishes and dark circles. Good staying power as well.

I use some quite high end makeup ( chantecaille Ect ) and I also rate the collection one, I have been using it for years and it's brilliant.

NorthernSoul55 · 29/01/2022 00:11

Yep, the Collection concealer, lots of shades, easy to blend and doesn't shift. If I put it on in the morning it's still there when I cleanse at night, so no topping up required.

Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer has been my mainstay for years. Good for under eyes and the odd spot.

I’m pale & neutral and usually find pale concealers too yellow, and NARS colours seem to work for me.

Revolution conceal and define is excellent.

Collection

MrsPelligrinoPetrichor · 29/01/2022 06:55

Nars or the Aldi dupe

SwishSwishBisch · 29/01/2022 07:11

Thanks! Lots of love for the Collection one, will definitely check that out. The NARS one sounds like it might suit my skin tone quite well though

Came to say Collection thinking it was insider knowledge but turns out everyone knows how good it is! Grin I'm very pale and use the lightest. Great on my dark circles and spots.

Daylighthours · 29/01/2022 07:33

Rimmel

Milomonster · 29/01/2022 08:33

The Nars one.

I’ve been looking for a new concealer and saw the collection one mentioned a few times here. Popped to Superdrug and they had it for £4.49 so I’m going to give it a go.

SwishSwishBisch · 30/01/2022 22:21

I tried the NARS one today, it was waaaay too thick for me. I prefer buildable coverage. The nice lady in Space NK nearly talked me into a lush one from By Terry for £40 Blush but I stuck to my guns & headed for Superdrug! Pleasantly surprised by the Collection one - I’m worried it might be too drying under my eyes but for £4.50 I’m willing to give it a go! Really brilliant colour match, and lovely texture too!

I have the By Terry (Terrybly Densiliss) one. I'd recommend that.

I've just bought another, cheaper than the By Terry, as Sali Hughes had been praising it; it's Dior Forever skin correct (shade 00 - super pale). I think that's quite nice, too. Though I haven't been using it long enough to decide if I like it more than the Terry concealer.

LoveLabradors · 31/01/2022 08:39

Had anyone tried the Il Makiage flawless concealer please? Considering trying it, not super keen on the marketing and as a company they seem to get mixed reviews. It’s for dark circles.

DazzlePaintedBattlePants · 31/01/2022 11:52

Morphe Fluidity - usually under £10

SwishSwishBisch · 31/01/2022 14:04

First go with the Collection one today - I set it with the By Terry hyaluronic setting powder (previous splurge but oh my goodness is it good!) and it’s pretty flawless. So impressed for the price!
