Cuban heels

I have a few pairs of ankle boots with low Cuban heels. Now ?5 years old. They are comfortable and I can wear them with dresses and trousers.
But..... given new chunky boots are the trend these now deeply passé?

Fashionistas of Style and Beauty what is your verdict?

(And yes I know if I like them I should say "sod it" and wear them anyway but I am fickle and do care.......)

Hopeful bump for an opinion.

I do think the super chunky boots are a very casual look that works in some situations, where as a Cuban heel can look a bit smarter so no dated as such.

But I'm not very stylish and am currently coverting cowboy boots so you don't want to be taking advice from me.
