Eye cream for in your 30s

I'm early-mid thirties and have definitely started noticing a change in the skin under my eyes. I've never used eye cream before, just basic moisturiser. Normal skin type. Any recommendations?

Some people say that you don't need a separate eye cream as your moisturiser should do the same job if you take it up under your eyes.

I did subscribe to that but have just got to the end of an obagi elastiderm eye cream. A little goes a long time way and I do think it's very good and has helped, I'm 50 on Monday so need all the help I can get. It's expensive though!

I love dermalogica biolumin-c eye serum, it is a serum so there is no tugging on the eyes and clogging of pores like you get with a cream. It lasts forever.

It's genetic. As you age, your skin gets thinner. Skin potions won't do anything at the level of the dermis to have any impact. Everybody ages. Just moisturise as you do elsewhere, drink water and wear spf. Don't fall for the beautiful lies told by the industry. Have you seen an 89 year that looks ageless? Of course not.

Thanks everyone. Fritilleries I notice that moisturiser makes my skin look and feel nicer but the skin under your eyes is thinner so I wanted something specifically for that. You do your thing, I'll do mine.

I sometimes use a separate eye cream, when I can be bothered. The Ordinary caffeine serum and La Roche-Posay redermic retinol cream are two that I use.
