I’m in the market for some chunky soled Chelsea boots but most I’ve tried have been too clumpy and look a bit ridiculous. I found these Mint Velvet ones but I can’t even get my feet in 🤦‍♀️

Last pair I bought, and somehow have lost in several house moves, were from Next in their sale which look exactly the same as those.

I’m a 7 which is a big part of the problem! Boots look cute on Instagram but ridiculous on me.

The DM’s could work maybe. I hadn’t considered them because I always think of the huge lace up boots I lived in at 19 ( worn with mini skirts and tye dye tops 😬😆)

Give them a try. I’m sure they’re free delivery and returns. Maybe they’d look to chunky with tights but if you wore rolled jeans it might balance them out. And they’re SO comfy

Another vote for office, maybe try boots that come a little further up than your ankle to balance your feet (which are not huge)

They are not too unlike Blundstones who doa wide (it’s the half size. So 7.5 actually means 7 wide.)

The DMs arrived and are lovely but I think the fur shortens my legs. They look good from the side but from the front the fur makes my legs look stumpy.

Hmmm that’s a shame. But good to try. If it’s just the fur do they do them without?! I love my timberlands too although my favourite ones are no longer made…Nellie pull ons.
