Lip plumping stuff

I’m getting older and my lips are looking a bit thinner and more lined (I don’t smoke but am on hardcore meds that don’t do me any favours).

I don’t want fillers but wondered if anyone had any recommendations for lip plumping things that actually work. I just want a little more volume and hydration. I use lipsalve regularly.

Mac used to do a plumping lip gloss. It made a noticeable difference to the fullness of my lips when I wore it but it also made me feel anxious - like I'd drank too much coffee! I'm assuming it was a reaction to the active ingredient?!

@EdinaMonsoon was it one of those burning/hot type of ones?

@LagerthaofKattegat Not hot, no. Like a tingling/stinging sensation. It had a very strong almond flavour/aroma to it. Will take a look to see if they still do it and give a link. Back when I bought it (probably 10 years ago) I remember asking on here to see if anyone else had a similar reaction and they had!

It may have been Powerglass but of course the ingredients may have changed since I bought it years ago.
