Midi dress for shortish person

I love the midi dresses that Kate Middleton wears but she must be 5’10 and I am only 5’4 so when I try them on the length and proportions are all wrong. Any ideas for something similar that might work? Thank you

I’m 5’3 and midi dresses just never look good on me, I always look dumpy. I need maxi, knee length or (with thick tights) mini.

Mind you, longer midis are maxi on me…

I don't think they're midi, I think they are knee length dresses. I always think of a midi as mid calf. What about this one, the model is 5' 8" so it would be below knee on you?

This is a boutique that's near to me and this dress popped up on her Instagram today, I thought the dipped hem would be good on you? I think she is quite little too, so the length would be good on you.
