Heist or Wolford?

I am fed up of buying tights that sag like a toddler's within 5 minutes of wearing. I used to buy Wolford Velvet opaques years ago but quick bit of research of blogs etc suggest Heist is also considered a good brand. I'd rather pay for a premium pair that lasts than cheaper pairs with poor fit and needing to be replaced. Any recommendations for either?

Just to say I would recommend Falke. German brand so can come up quite big.

I've always found wolfords pretty bulletproof. I bought a pair of Heists a couple of years ago and they disintegrated around the waistband seam after about three wears (and they weren't too small - a bit big if anything). I know lots of people swear by them on here but i was really disappointed.

Thanks for the replies. I think I will opt for Wolfords & try a pair of Falkes too.

@PacificState are Wolfords still true to size? From their chart, I should be a medium: 5’6” & 9st 5 but I have a vague recollection of sizing up in the past (It’s been a solid 8 years + since I last bought a pair).

@turnaroundtime & @Timeandtune Can you tell me about Falke sizing? And any specific style that you recommend? I’m after black opaque with a “velvet” finish.

Another vote for each of the above - worth every penny.

Would definitely go down a size in Falke but you will be fine for length. They do 100 den Matt opaques. Last a lifetime!

I'd say wolfords are on the small size - definitely size up if you're on the borderline

Heist are the worse tights I’ve ever worn. They did give me a refund after I sent a picture of the disintegration.
