I am on the hunt for a good deodorant that is fragrant-free. Any ideas?

I love Mum unperfumed deodorant. I know it is old fashioned, but it does the job perfectly and is cheap. It is sometimes difficult to find, so I always stock up when I see it.

MooGoo deodorant is un-fragranced and really effective.

Also recommend Body Shop Aloe roll on (although I know not everyone wants to buy from there these days!)

I like Mitchum - they have unperfumed but also other unobtrusive smells like shower fresh, pure fresh and I think they all come in each format - cream, roll on and spray - which is convenient.

I rarely use anything else as it's so long lasting.

Mitchum

Rock crystal

Dilbertian · 25/01/2022 18:29

I find the rock Crystal type utterly useless.

Mitchum is very effective, but too harsh on my skin for long-term use, so I save it for very hot weather or very special outfits. Also leaves an unpleasant residue that builds up.

Mum do a good everyday one. As do Simple, Waitrose, and Nivea. But not all of these are ever in stock all of the time, so I use whichever I find. My favourite is Nivea Sensitive & Pure 48h.

Generally the 48h ones are better than the regular equivalent, but I would only use them as a daily deodorant. Certainly not instead of a daily shower.

Agree with Mum unperfumed (grey packaging) deodorant. Agree also that it is hard to find, so you'll need to buy 3-4 at a go.

Wildrobin · 26/01/2022 15:31

Salt of the Earth is incredibly good.
I used Mitchum when much younger but find the above as effective without the chemicals

Wildrobin · 26/01/2022 15:32

I agree with finding rock crystal completely useless!

Pitrock spray.

Used to use the yellow Mitcham but it stopped working and smelt horrible when sweaty. I use this nivea one, it does have a fragrance but its a nice refreshing smell, www.boots.com/nivea-black-and-white-fresh-250ml--10228172 I use the roll on daily

gg321 · 26/01/2022 16:05

Mitchum is so good. I used to sweat and smell at times using other brands but since switching to Mitchum I can honestly say I’ve not had a problem, it’s amazing, and like a pp said there is an un perfumed one

Rebecca75 · 26/01/2022 16:12

Pitrok roll on. I get one that is slightly fragranced but I don’t notice the smell - I’m really sensitive to artificial smells so this hits the spot for me

HGC2 · 26/01/2022 16:28

I’ve used the fragrance free dove one but it’s not stocked anywhere anymore. Mitchum was too harsh so I’m on the look out for a new one too

Bonbon21 · 27/01/2022 16:49

Unscented Mitchum..... nothing else comes close...!!

BusterGonad · 28/01/2022 09:52

I like the Nivea one (protect and care) with the navy blue lid, it's not fragrance free but just smells of Nivea (cream).

opinionminion · 28/01/2022 11:49

Mum ... I buy a few at a time from Sainsbury's (bottom shelf) I don't remember not using it ! It's got a grey top, works perfectly and is so cheap !
