Ice roller - worth the hype?

Hi,

So I purchased one a few days ago and have used it 3 times now. I'm 37 and was hoping it would help with puffiness and dullness. Was also hoping it would help reduce fine lines. I think I see a slight improvement with the puffiness around my eyes and it certainly gives you an initial rosey glow, but later in the day, I feel I look haggard again, if not slightly more Confused

Then I started thinking, well what's weathered skin? Being out in the cold all day, doesn't usually have a positive effect on your skin, does it? I know I look like I've aged several years if I go for a long, icy winter walk.

I know icing is all the rage right now, in terms of anti ageing, including for the mind, but the last thing I want is to make my skin worse, so not sure if I should carry on.

Thoughts?...

TIA

I also bought some recently. I much prefer my jade tools to these but DH says they help with his migraines so they haven't been a total waste of money.

@Slinkymalinky03, ah, I was going to ask about the jade rollers, as I know these two are often compared to each other.

How does the jade roller work? I get that any massage type tools are going to be good for de puffing, drainage etc, but what does the jade do?

@BowlofRamen I think the main benefit of the jade is that it's cool and smooth. Rose quartz does exactly the same thing but warms up more quickly I've found (or that could be me!).
