Has anyone had cryolipolysis the treatment where they freeze the fat in your belly and does it work ?

No, I haven't. I was reading something the other day about one of the original super models who had fat freezing done and it went really wrong. Linda evangelista!

Have you looked at fat dissolving injections? Aqualyx? If it's just a small area?

(Disclaimer - I had vaser lipo on my stubborn belly fat)

What is Vaser lipo? And were you happy with the results ?

givemepiece · 24/01/2022 00:27

Vaser is where they melt the fat through small incisions with lasers then suck it out. It's supposedly gentler than normal lipo and it gives smoother results... let me see if I can find a before/after pic

It looks great! Can you give us more details? Did it hurt? What's the recovery like?
givemepiece · 25/01/2022 17:49

Thank you!
So I had it done in London with one of the more expensive surgeons. It's was about 6000 🙈 as I had four areas (belly, lower back, bra strap fat and flanks)
You can get it cheaper if you shop around but I knew a couple of people who had been to this guy and I loved their results so I saved up and took the plunge
There is a limit to the amount of fat they can remove at one time (places like Turkey don't have this limit which is why it's considered more dangerous over there) so I ended up going for round 2 at no extra cost as he didn't quite get it all Grin
The first round was under general and was a walk in the park, the second round as it was just a touch up it was under local which, I cannot stress enough, I DO NOT RECOMMEND. Obviously you don't feel pain but there's tugging, the sounds of lasers, the suction, ughhhh was horrible
Recovery was fine, just felt very tight and have to wear a compression garment for 6/8 weeks.
The scars are tiny, like 5mm lines which have faded to nearly invisible now.
Overall I would do it again (but insist on general both times thank youuuu)
