Has anyone used any of the online/postal jewellery repair services? I've got a few bits that need fixing but I've never had to use a postal service before. Anyone had good/bad experiences?

No, but I’ve considered it. I have an expensive watch that needs an additional link putting in and I contacted a watch repair place in Manchester that said he could do it. Gave me a quote and was quite pushy and my gut instinct made me a bit wary of him, especially being so pushy. So didn’t do it

I’ve got extensive sales experience and I can be more than persuasive- but he was bordering on aggressive pushy. Put me right off

Yeah I'd be put off by that as well. I'm thinking of trying Jewellery Doctor, reviews look pretty good but never hurts to get a few MN opinions.

If you're in and around N London I can recommend somewhere.

Sadly not @Wallabyone, I'm about as far away from N London as you can get, while still being in the UK. Thanks for the offer though.

I’d love the recommendation for jewelry repair in North London.
