Retinol help

I'm quite new to retinol but I've now gone through two tubes of the indeed labs reface stuff which I read was a good one to start off with. I'm up to using it every other night and have no reactions. What do I do now I'm nearing the end of tube two? Continue as I am, use the same stuff but you up to every night or could you recommend the best one that is slightly stronger to use next? Thanks

What type of retinol is it and what's the % of active?

PAFMO · 23/01/2022 17:58

Ok, I looked it up, it's a very very low % (perfect as an entry level retinol product) and it's granactive retinoid which is very gentle.
I'd move up to maybe one of The Ordinary ones now, they do a 0.5 granactive (on the labelling it's billed as 5% but because it's a GR you have to divide by 10 to get the real active %) or the Boots one which I think is the same. (It looks like the indeed labs might be 2%/0.2% from the INCI website)

Thank you so much. I'll give the ordinary one a try. Will I be able to carry on with every other night do you think?

I'm using the 5%/0.5 in squalane after using The Inkey List 0.3 and I'm using it most nights now with no issues, so yes, I reckon so.
My aim is to work up to Medik8 or Paula's Choice 1% and then I'll look 20 again Grin
