Hiker style boots

Help me find some hiking style boots.

I bought the Boden Dunbar Parka:

www.boden.co.uk/en-gb/dunbar-waterproof-parka-oregano/sty-t0650-grn?gclid=CjwKCAiA0KmPBhBqEiwAJqKK402y1cB8bOq2FA1G2i1KdiMcqZC1y2Ze-Gua9iur5yrjzU9dj8CwqxoCROYQAvD_BwE

In navy and as it looks like a hiking coat I am embracing the look and would like to find some hiking trainer boots.

I bought these from M&S and learned

  • I don't think I want stiff
  • I definitely don't want heavy
  • I want a lighter colour i.e. tan brown or ginger
  • I want good support and cushioning

The M&S ones are going back as they are too dark and really squeaky. I could only just get them on (wide feet).

I saw these which I love but the reviews all say they were narrow. I could try and find them in 6.5 but even then some said they did not fit. I have wide feet.

Any suggestions for similar? Tempted just to chance the size 6.

How about these?

Teva Boots

I have them and they're so comfortable and really lightweight. I'd been put off other hiking style boots because of the weight of them.

Have you looked at Grenson - the sale is usually quite good? I have a pair of Nanettes, they're so light and the most comfortable boots I've ever worn. They seem hard wearing and don't squeak either Grin

Having said that, I don't think they have much cushioning..

The Sorel ones you've posted are lovely, I think I'd order them and risk it. You can always send back if they don't fit.

Grenson have a few other hiking type styles, as well as the Nanettes. I’ve got the vegan Nanettes and they’re really comfortable.

Sorel has a good sale on so worth having a look if there are other styles that might come up wider?

Otherwise you could search ‘brown hiker boots’ on google and see what looks best - I just searched and there’s loads of all different prices.
