Personalised name necklace

DD is 21 in February and I would love to get her a quality necklace of her name. Budget somewhere around the £500 mark - anyone any recommendations?

Anna Lou of London have loads of options, in various finishes - they're definitely worth a look.

I was going to suggest Tatty Devine and then saw your budget - you could her name and a family tree for that 😂

Would she definitely like that? Because it’s a lot of money.

Maybe a birthstone necklace could be a nicer option?

I second this. Aren't name necklaces a tad juvenile for someone on the cusp of adulthood?

Why would someone with a £500 budget want a TD recommendation? Just had a look and it's dress jewellery rather than a quality necklace - I think if it's for a 21st the OP wants something long lasting rather than a 'fashion' brand.

I have never understood why anyone would like having their name on display around their neck... reminds me of a dog's collar... Also now days... don't feel is safe that any stranger can know your name by looking at your necklace... I agree with Doodlebell a birth stone or what about a necklace with her star sign... they are quite beautiful...

And at 21 she’ll probably know a random is reading her name from her necklace, not stealthily pretending to know her.

Anyway, I think it’s a great idea @wetwiped and am going to Nick it for DD’s 21st later in the year.

That's OK! This board is just really nice and loads of gorgeous links and nice stuff- I have also now fallen down a rabbit hole of star sign necklaces in diamonds- so pretty

I love name necklaces , I think they are really sweet. Especially in handwriting . Actually now I’m going to see if I can get handwriting turned into a necklace.
