Comfy knickers?

Hi wise ones. I really need new undies but I'm at a loss where to look . I've always been faithful to M&S in the past but I just haven't been that impressed with my last few purchases.
I thought I'd check out Stripe and Stare but it's £40 for 4 pairs. Is this reasonable?
I want to try and 'buy better' for myself but not sure where to look.
I just want comfy 'nice' knickers. Is that too much to ask ??? No thongs or lacy faffy bits, but not quite belly warmers either.
Any recommendations gratefully received!

Boody - a bit dearer but totally worth it. Comfiest nix I've ever worn and the wash and wear well.

Jayneisagirlsname · 19/01/2022 21:51

Did you try M&S flexifit? So comfortable

UntilYourNextHairBrainedScheme · 19/01/2022 22:04

What about Sloggi? Or the seamless Uniqlo ones (their bras are rubbish but knickers good) or Allbirds if you're willing to pay a bit more for a sustainable brand.

Thunderpants- expensive but so comfy! And last.

DedalusBloom · 20/01/2022 02:02

Another note for the M&S flexifit. So snug and comfy.

Asda and tescos, basic range quite good and cheap

PersonCareHotline · 20/01/2022 02:44

Another vote for Boody, comfy and last ages. I’ve never managed to wear a pair out and have been wearing them for about three years. They still look great.

Boody often do 10-15% off if you sign up to their emails.

I bought Innersy (from Amazon) after being recommended on here.
Great quality, nice thick material, wash well.
So good, I bought my Mum some too Grin

Another vote for Boody! Have to cut the labels out though.

Next or Sloggi

I'd second this. I'm currently wearing their under bump maternity pants and they are much better quality that my usual M&S pre pregnancy pants. I'll stick with them post pregnancy too as they have such a wide range of styles including period pants.

Buying from Amazon means thousands of reviews too which is helpful in decision making

Oldraver · 20/01/2022 12:08

Yes I've just moved over to Oddballs. I cant have elastic or lace at the edges and really prefer cotton. The boxers are ideal for me, though they do have other styles as well

FrownsAndDimples · 20/01/2022 12:08

Another recommendation for innersy. Properly covers your arse, no wedgies and doesn't ride down or up. I just wish their gussets weren't grey.

victoriacan1976 · 28/05/2022 20:47

Stripe & Stare the most comfortable I have ever worn. And sustainable. Much better than boody definitely not having to cut the labels out with Stripe and stare

Xztop · 28/05/2022 21:30

Best tip I ever got given for comfortable knickers is to always size up, works for me!
