Where to sell handbags

Does anyone have recommendations/ experience of selling handbags online. I have two Anya Hindmarch, a Miu Miu and a Mulberry that I want to sell.
I created an account with Vestaire Colldctive today but then saw that their trust pilot reviews are horrendous, so am not sure now!!
I've also got a Vivienne Westwood that I've just listed on eBay. I have a good selling history on there so I could list them all on there but I'm not sure if that's the best site!

If you are on Facebook there are some very good mulberry groups that you can sell on.

The others I'm not so sure, perhaps eBay?

A lot of people won’t use eBay due to fakes.

I’d suggest checking Facebook and seeing what pages you can find. There are several for Mulberry as an example.

Labels Most Wanted or Naughtipidgins Nest

MavisMonkey · 18/01/2022 23:07

Thanks @FormerlySpeckledyHen
Have you used either of them?

I read about Naughtipidgens Nest earlier but it doesn't look like they deal in Miu Miu or Anya Hindmarch, and I would rather put them all though one site.

I will look into labels most wanted

Yes Mavis I gave bought from both of them and just about to sell a Mulberry via Labels Most Wanted. I have met the owner of LMW on several occasions and bought from her on eBay before she set up her company.

Definitely don't use Vestiaire Collective. I had a horrific experience that left me hundreds of pounds out of pocket and without my bag. Their customer experience is awful.

Somewhere like the Handbag Clinic, or a local designer clothes reseller would be your best bet. There is one in Sussex called Edit Secondhand.

Definitely sell directly through Facebook groups, if you sell to a seller/business, you won't get much because they will need to make a mark up. Mulberry Swap and Sell is a good group for Mulberry. I'm not sure about the other designers but do a search.

Naughtipidgens Nest and Bagista.

NeedWineNow · 19/01/2022 08:52

Sian at Naughtipidgins definitely sells Miu Miu (because I had my eye on a bag and dithered and it went Angry. I'm pretty sure she's had Anya Hindmarch as well. Best thing is to email her to check. I've bought a couple of times from her and she's great to deal with.

MavisMonkey · 19/01/2022 10:26

Thanks everyone!

Sorry to hear about your bad experience with Vestaire @nanabow that's why I am wary of them.

That's great @FormerlySpeckledyHen, I've just submitted forms for all my items on LMW so 🤞🏻

Good to know about Sian @NeedWineNow I'll drop her an email today.

@starsinthegutter I've joined an Anya Hindmarch buying and selling group on Facebook so that could be good.

I think I might hang on to the Mulberry one...
I got a consignment offer from the Handbag Clinic for the Miu Miu that I might take as it's been mentioned positively on here.

I've bought Miu Miu through NPN in the past and she's a delight to deal with, her communications are brilliant every step of the way.

I'm sure she would sell AH too, it's just not something you see too much of. She seems to shift a lot of Mulberry and Chanel as that is popular.
