Nike trainers sizing (womens)?

I’m a 4 in ‘normal’ shoes but sometimes get a 5 in a running shoe. (Nike also do a 4.5 which has thrown me!) Haven’t bought a pair of Nikes for years - can anyone advise on how the sizing comes up? (Am ordering online and would love not to have to go through the palaver of returning! 🤞🏼) TIA.

I’ve always found Nike very true to size - I’m a 5.5 in most shoes and so always bought 5.5 in Nike. But IMO they’ve really gone downhill in the last few years - haven’t lasted nearly as long nor been as comfortable. I’d personally recommend Brooks instead for running, but that’s just me!

I've always found Nike to be quite generous (accurate) to size and no difference between the men's and women's sizes - unlike eg Adidas where even one size bigger is too tight. For reference I have fairly narrow feet with high insteps, I am normally between a 7 and 8 and Nike 7.5s fit me perfectly with plenty of room.
You should probably try a 4 to start with (maybe 4.5 depending on style).

I have quite wide feet and can wear a 7 in sketchers but need an 8 in Nike for width more than length

I got sone size 4 nikes a few months ago and they were tight!! Took a lot of breaking in(which I don’t expect for trainers!) now they are fine but very frustrating so maybe try the 4.5

I'm a standard 4 in everything EXCEPT Nike. Always take a 5 in running shoes, 4.5 in every other trainer. I make my sister do the same. The 4 is VERY snug.

Are you buying fashion shoes or running shoes? It’s normal to go up a half size or a size in running shoes to avoid destroyed toes.

I have Nikes from 4.5-6. It's totally style dependant unfortunately!

Their fashion shoes are quite roomy, I always size up, but their running shoes are fairly small….

I personally have found them to be small. I've got Nike sb and Nike Thea and both had to go up in size and in fact the Thea are really too narrow and not that comfortable and the sb are slightly too short in the toe length. I'm contemplating ordering some venture runners but not sure whether to go up even another half size

I’m a 4 in normal shoes. I have some Nike Air Zoom Pegasus trainers for running that I ordered in 4.5. They are a perfect fit for me. DD has Air Max 90’s and 270’s in 4 and they are true to size.

I'm a 5, I have 5.5 Nikes, perfect fit although I have had a 5 before which were too small.

I'd suggest you go up a .5

I am normally a 5 but always get Nike trainers in a 6.

I agree with @Miraloma, it is style dependent. I have Nikes ranging from 7-8.5.

Nikes tend to be true to size. I find adidas always slightly small to size.

They are always true to size for me.

Nike that is

Nike running shoes - size up.
Nike children's trainers (for adults) - size up.
Nike fashion trainers - true to size.

All in my experience.
