If you use those hair clips which 'snap' you might know the issue I'm having; when I go to take them out of DD's hair (or more often, she takes them out) her hair gets caught in the 'hinge' looking bit. This has happened with a load of brand new ones from Claire's and some from amazon.
Her hair is wild but she's very fussy about what I use to hold it back so crocodile clips etc are not a battle worth fighting.
My MIL bought her some from Mimi & Lula for Christmas which are fabric wrapped and work perfectly but half have already disappeared at nursery, so I'm hoping someone can recommend cheaper alternatives I can try?
