Do body firming lotions make any difference?

In your experience...

I was given some for Christmas (thanks for that Wink) and I'll use it on my wrinkly flabby body, but am certainly not expecting a miracle.

But can I expect any difference?

It's Nivea btw.. I do like Nivea products so v happy to use it for the smell alone Smile

In my experience the only way to firm up your body is to be in caloric deficit and exercise, sorry @wishingitwasspring

Thanks..

Yes I do agree, and I've just lost 4 stones doing that, the present was clearly well intended because I'll moan about the resulting wrinkles to anyone who'll listen Grin

Wishful thinking I know

I used the Q10 one years ago as I was losing weight and was shocked by how well is did work!

@wishingitwasspring well done you, that's a fantastic weight loss!! I know what you mean about the wrinkles, I found using the oil shower gels and then baby oil helped me a bit with them.

The nivea q10 is nice. It gives a temporary improvement to the look of the skin and might stave off further deterioration, as any moisturiser would. Sadly it won't make any real or lasting improvement to existing issues. Flab is fat just under the surface of the skin which the skin isn't firm enough to hold in place. It tends to reveal itself after weight loss as its the stubborn pockets hanging on in there. The wrinkles tend to be skin that's stretched, and no cream you apply will fix that ime. BUT, it does get a lot better by itself in time, depending on your age and natural skin elsticity. About a year of maintaining a consistent weight should see a difference. Laser skin tightening treatments help a bit too. I have a home device that seemed to help.
