Perfect formula nail gel QVC

Has anyone tried it? What did you think? They have a TSV coming up and I'm tempted to try it.....

I usually wear gels with a hard base (shellac peels within a few days on it's own) but for various reasons I can't use that at the moment. I've tried nail envy from OPI before but my nails are thin so I feel like I need something thicker, also they tend to get too dry over time with this and crack really low down which is painful. I need to start using cuticle oil again I know but it doesn't work miracles it it's own.

I use it and it works for me. Better than nail envy for me.

I sent it back - the coverage with the coloured gels was absolutely awful so I couldn't use them.

It's the only thing I use now. Love it! Makes my brittle, flaky nails strong enough to withstand my toddler's exuberance. Wish there was more colour choices though.

I didn't rate it tbh, it seemed to 'shatter' on the nail after a few days. I wasn't that impressed with OPI Nail Envy either, it similarly didn't last long. Are they still recommending painting two coats of it at first then one every other day and removing it at the end of a week? I tried that about 18 years ago when I first got it and my nails looked a total mess, with obviously worn polish under coats of fresh polish. I wouldn't go out of the house looking like that, I have no idea why it's ever advised. Do they think people never use their hands, put them in water etc?!

The only good nail treatment products I ever had from QVC were Prostrong and they really were excellent. I don't think they stock them anymore. I find Boots cheapest clear nail polish (think it's Natural Collection for £1.99) to be as good as any for adding a protective layer. I change it about twice a week. And a good nail/cuticle oil - the best I've found is Kernow Spa.
