Selling a wedding dress

Any particular site or company that just buys them? I'm not enamoured by the thought of Gumtree or dealing with buyers myself if at all avoidable? I'd like to make some money so I can give it to my sister to buy her dress so giving it away for free is not currently an option.

Still white seems to be a big one!

But mainly for dresses from well known brands!

Stillwhite you list yourself and deal manage the sale - mine is listed there and I haven't had any luck yet, two very interested women but didn't work out as it was too small in the waist/bust.

I looked up shops that might be able to sell on my behalf but all the ones I found either didn't take sizes as small as mine (see below), or the dress had to be a value of £2000+ new which mine was not.

I am shorter than average, and size 6. So it's much more difficult to resell as you can't let it out if it's too tight, or add length if too short - the amount of people who could 'make it work' are far fewer. Taller brides and bigger sizes give more wiggle room.

Thanks for all the advice, it is very helpful. I'll look up Still White. It is a well known designer and a non altered sample size 10 so hopefully it might sell.
