Dungaree Appreciation Thread

I own two pairs. They make me look bigger than what I am but they are so bloody comfy!

My husband said he will buy me a pair. Any suggestions?! I always wear with my DMs 😊

I have lots of pairs. Some loose colourful ones and some denim ones, and a needlecord pair. I have about 3 pairs of shorts length ones too.

The loose ones are very similar to Lucy & Yak, and the others are mainly from Gap.

I think I have one pair from H&M, one from Next and one of the shorts one is from F&F (Tesco)

I don't have any Run&Fly ones but I have some cords by them

I wear the L&Y style ones with converse-style hi-tops, daps or solovair boots.

I have a couple of pairs of Lucy and Yak chord 'originals' eBay's not a bad place to find them as patterns are often limited edition so you can find some more unusual patterns on there - if that takes your fancy

My L&Y-style ones are similar to the Luna style. I didn't like the printed fabric. I'm not sure if they still sell Lunas

I have an Easton boiler suit and I love it

I have a pair from free people (the ziggy in indigo). Asos stock them which is great for returns if they don't fit. How tall are you? I'm 173cm so getting them long enough has been an issue and these are.

I’m in! . Have a L&Y pair plus a few vintage-y pairs including a Laura Ashley paisley pattern needlecord pair that doubtless make me resemble a toddler. Also a Toast pair of classic blue denim ones that are my ‘go with everything’ ones.

I have lots and lots. Many Lucy and Yak and Run and Fly, as well as Gringo, homemade and some from a local independent shop. I've cord ones, cotton, denim, shorts and pinafores. All sorts of colours and patterns including bees, foxes, dinosaurs, butterflies, ladybirds, rainbows.

I wear mine with DMs or converse. I live in them.

I love dungarees! So comfortable. Love the pockets, the smartness of wearing the same thing top and bottom, the fact they bridge the gap in the middle!

My favourites were a pair from FatFace. Not somewhere I'd have considered before but amazing quality and really great cut on the legs and waist. The one issue was the bib wasn't really big enough for my back length and boob size. They "fit" but were making me slouch to minimise my chest so I've stopped wearing them. I wish they would do the same style in tall fit.

Otherwise I've had good quality pairs from Hush and OK quality from Gap. Can't beat Lucy and Yak for comfort and cross season versatility though.

I have 18 pairs of L& Y. I’m in a wheelchair and they are perfect.

I've had a rummage and found a pair of short dungarees and a jumpsuit I'd forgotten about.

I've got 2 pairs, one from GAP and one from Sainsbury's, I love them.

I'm old and I love them! I used to wear them in the 70s and here I am wearing them again! DH bought me the Hayle playsuit from Finisterre. It's linen and in the sale atm. Will be perfect for summer :)

Don't you find the having to get partially undressed to go to the loo but a pain, or am I missing something?

@toastfiend always looks fab in dungarees.

Don’t you need to get partially undressed to take off any trousers?! I have a black toast dungaree that I love. My friend compared me with my toddler the other day but I care not!

Skirts are harder as it's up with the skirt down with the knickers , complicated
