Navy blue cashmere coat

Hello style mavens

I am looking for a navy cashmere coat, calf/full length, single breasted in a tailored style (almost menswear style). I thought I had found it (in House of Bruar of all places) but unfortunately their smallest size is a tiny bit too big for me. Pic attached.

Has anyone seen something else like this? Have googled etc but not found anything. No particular budget constraints.

Would it be possible to have that one altered to fit?

I wondered that with the too big coat but it’s tricky across the neckline in particular and am worried about butchering hundreds of pounds of cashmere and then it not working. But you’re right, that might be the best solution. Maybe I’ll take it to a tailor and see what they say.

Joseph nope. Although they have some lovely stuff and the sale is great.

I’ve checked the usual suspects - johnstons of Elgin, maxmara etc - nothing.

Everything is very unstructured at the moment, finding in particular a structured shoulder is v difficult.

I still grieve for my Jaeger navy cashmere blend, slightly oversized coat, bought for a steal, went with everything, was light but warm. Left it in hanging in a light filled cupboard over summer and it bleached terribly, unusable
