Vitamin C oil smell

Is it just me, or does anyone else not like the smell of vitamin C oil. I have two brands, on applying it seems OK but after a while I can smell the oil, and it lasts the whole day. It's a strange musty smell. I did buy some EA products and received the vitamin C capsules in the set, and these don't smell at all. But they have other ingredients in as well, so that might be why. Now I'm not sure if both the bottles I have are on the turn (one is brand new and did the same the first time I used it).

Vitamin c always smells like bacon, doesn’t mean there’s a problem with the product. I don’t notice it anymore.

For weeks my friend and I kept smelling something musty - I described it as smelling like earthy potatoes. We were borderline thinking one of us had liver failure then read online that vitamin c can give a smell. It was on her fingers from where she had applied it. It was pretty intense particularly when her hands were warm and she used a stronger one

Yes! It's difficult to describe the smell.

I tried using less, but then the 2 drops or whatever they suggested isn't enough to cover my face, so maybe I'm using too much. It stays with me all day and it is all I can smell. I was using 3 x week to get started and now I'm on to every day, so now if I continue to use it I'm going to smell like a potato forever. 🤭

My skin looks great though. But now I pong. What a conundrum.
