White stuff

Ok maybe it’s the lockdown weight or maybe not…

Is it just me or white stuff much smaller these days. I tried on some size 14 tops and they We’re a) way too short (I’m 5ft 3) and b) a bit snug.

They used to be very generous and if I was feeling a bit plump I’d size up to a 14. Now the 12s won’t even go over one boob. 14s are not that much better and everything is so incredibly short… shirts, jumpers etc

Or do I just need to drop a few pounds?!

Only buy things in the sale wouldn’t pay full price. I used to find them too short but now seem to be a longer length on me.Think better quality than NEXT. Think clothes in general are a bit drab and dreary at the moment. Recently had a few bits from face face they seem to be okay but I just buy in the sales. Not high fashion but won’t date quickly.

The jumper I ordered was too short and boxy, had the same design before and it was longer, more flattering

I duno about getting smaller - a friend (size 16) gave me a dress (size 16) which fits me ok and I am a size 20 (Apple with boobs and tum).

I shopped there from the very beginning when they used to size clothes 0,1,2 etc. I stopped buying in there around 2010 when the quality and style went downhill, they used to make beautiful plain linen summer dresses then it went 1970’s curtain fabric print.
