Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair

I swear I have aged overnight. I’m looking in the mirror and feeling every bit of my age. Suspect serious cancer diagnosis a couple of years ago has played a part but anyway I just look and feel a bit tired.

I’ve always taken good care of my skin but in a bit of a hotchpotch way. I think I need the big guns now. I do get Botox every few months which helps. But what about skincare? Currently using mix of The Ordinary, Boots, Lancôme and Glossier. Wondering should I just invest in the ANr range and be done with it. Anyone use it and recommend?

What are your main concerns?

I love the face theory products specifically the retinoid serum and the azeliac acid serum the two together have plumped my skin and made it look brighter and fresher. They do smell a bit funky but they're not offensive.

The ANR serum didn't do it for my I managed to source loads of samples to try over about 6 weeks and didn't notice any changes.

Have a look at Caroline Hirons website/Facebook really informative and straightforward

I love the Advanced night repair serum and its the one beauty product I wont skimp on even if I have to live on beans on toast for a week!
I wake up glowy in the morning.

I have it, got it at Christmas in their Christmas box, I don't think I would buy it again, I haven't noticed any difference at all.

I love it but have used it for over 20 years more as a preventative treatment. I notice a difference if I stop using it for a few days but I don’t think you’d notice a difference just using it short-term.

I’ve been using this since I was 26 - am now 58. I have absolutely no lines/wrinkles and much younger looking skin. I assume it’s down to the serum (maybe some good genes thrown in) Personally I wouldn’t be without it!

I used it religiously as instructed & finished the bottle.
Didn't make a jot of difference to my skin.

I love ANR, I have no idea why but it just gives my skin that extra vavavoom.

I’ve used it but prefer the no7 range. The hot face wash and creams. I find them better than the Estée Lauder range. But then I also tried the mascara and ended up going back to Maxfactor, which I used in my 20s.

I love it and appreciate it more and more as I get older. No7 protect and perfect is probably the next best I've found.

Few things that have made a noticeable difference to my late 40s skin:

  • Pixi Glow Tonic
  • Vitamin C Serum
  • Retinol (I like medik8, can start low and work your way up)

Liquid gold, retirides, it's retinol you would get from a dermatologist, but in Spain you can buy it from most chemists and vitamin c, these are the things that made the most difference to my skin.
