Please help me remember the name of this clothing shop!

The clues are:
UK highstreet
Now defunct
Was open in 2003/2004 but unsure when it closed
Used to sell jeans that were embellished on the back pockets (amongst other things!)
The brand name was sewn/ embroidered into the jeans!

I used to love them and it driving me nuts!

Foxhole??
I was devastated when I stopped fitting into my old Foxhole jeans after they'd closed down Sad

PinkPiranha11 · 15/01/2022 00:17

Smallkeys · 15/01/2022 00:21

FreshwaterCurls · 15/01/2022 00:30

USC?

primarytype · 15/01/2022 00:31

wryggs - unsure of spelling

ouch321 · 15/01/2022 00:32

Yay, I won the thread!!

That'll be my highlight of 2022.

Not sure if regional or not to the poster who asked. I know them from NW London. Closed some years back.

Now the only female clothing stores round here are Primark and New Look and NL seems to have gone kind of trashy in the past few years (anyone else think they've shifted their position in the market?). There is no other places here, one by one over the years they've gone.

AKASammyScrounge · 15/01/2022 00:42

Van Allen?

ToooOldForThis · 15/01/2022 01:12

Pepe?

premiumfeet · 15/01/2022 03:18

I was going to also say West One but was searching for your response down thread in case you mentioned it. We used to have one in our local shopping centre. We had back then Pilot, Bay, West One, Tammy/Etam, Jane Norman in the shopping centre and suddenly puff they were all gone although Select is still standing.

1forAll74 · 15/01/2022 03:39

Richards

Siameasy · 15/01/2022 07:47

I’ve never heard of this shop.
We still have Select and Quiz and some of those random shops selling Chinese Kardashian knock offs

BlackAlys · 15/01/2022 08:59

Top thread for memory lane. I'd forgotten about a pair of green cords from Miss Sixty that I so loved!

LetHimHaveIt · 15/01/2022 09:04

I've never heard of it either. Google suggests it was regional (NE?) which might have saved a bit of time 🙄 Still, glad it's solved. I shall never forget the relief of Mumsnet supplying the name of a tv show I couldn't remember, based on the scantiest of details.
