Why is everything out of stock??

So I had planned a bit of a wardrobe revamp for this year. Got my list of clothes and have found what I want from various shops. But they've been out of stock for the last two months! Are they ever coming back in, or have the websites just not updated to take them down? I can't believe that so many items all from different places are all sold out, what's going on

But if an item has been out of stock for two months I'd be very surprised if it comes back into stock now. Clothing is largely seasonal, November items are only likely to reappear in the sale/ after returns, or if they're a year round product.

Supply chain issues as a result of Brexit/covid/that ship that got stuck. A friend works at HQ for a huge UK retainer and said that a lot of their Christmas stock just didn't arrive in time to sell this year, so will have to be warehoused for a year.

It's end of season, most companies are clearing warehouses through the sales, ready for the new season's spring stock.

Clothing is seasonal , you must buy it when you see it ! What website are you talking about that it even has things in it marked oos ? Seems weird!

They need to take them down quicker when they go out of stock it's annoying

Aaagh that's so annoying! The shops are Ted Baker, Phase Eight, New Look off the top of my head. They were out of stock when I saw them so I've clung on desperately. The first two shops are the dresses, they might be stocked up soon, right?

As above they are unlikely to come back in stock . It will be new season stuff now !

This may be a stupid question but do they have an option to see which stores it's in stock at? Sometimes it's out of stock online but you may find the odd one in store.
