Is this any good?

I’m looking for a full coverage foundation that feels light and doesn’t get cakey.
I’m 52 and also want to minimise the look of my pores.

I would also like to know this, as I’ve great things about it.

I meant to say I’ve heard great things about it.

I love it, I am 41 and wear it every day. I find it works best with a creamy primer rather than a silicone sort. It can be heavy, my mum hated it when she tried it but you need to blender it carefully, I use a damp beauty blender and a “stippling” motion. Once set, I use Laura Mercier or Catrice powder and Urban decay setting spray, it is in place all day. It lasts me around 6 months, you only need a small amount.

Welshponyslave can you recommend a creamy primer?

I hope that link works, but if not, it is the Barry M Flawless Original Primer. Love it!

Paddingtonthebear · 14/01/2022 19:51

I was looking at this but I don’t want to wear a primer and I don’t like anything heavy that needs loads of blending, needs to be light. So need to rethink.

Any other suggestions?

Welshponyslave
Thanks.
Is it any good at minimising pores?

Tbh I’ve just bought this after the raving on MN. I’m underwhelmed so far…

It is packaged beautifully, but smells really weird. I think it’s a very heavy coverage, and you need to get your skin care right as it doesn’t do well over dry skin. You need to apply it carefully - it looks absolutely shite if you just slap it on.

It lasts for ages, even though it’s expensive, as you only need a tiny bit. Well applied, it looks absolutely beautiful in photographs. I was actually looking at some photos of my face with it on today and I was like ‘yep what a babe!’.

You can tell I have very mixed feelings about this foundation can’t you? Grin
